Rebecca S. Parsons, a Giles County native, attended law school at the University of Tennessee, where she obtained her law degree in 2011, graduating cum laude.  While in law school, Rebecca interned at the Federal Defender Office of Eastern Tennessee and clerked for the University of Tennessee Advocacy Clinic. As a third year law student, Rebecca represented clients in an assortment of areas including domestic violence cases, criminal issues, landlord/tenant cases, and juvenile cases.  While in law school, she earned the highest grade in the following classes: Trial Advocacy, Innocence Clinic, and Advocacy Clinic.

Prior to law school, Rebecca attended the University of North Florida and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 2008, graduating summa cum lade. She is a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Animal Legal Defense Fund, and also serves on the Pulaski Board of the Boys and Girls Club and is active in animal rescue.
